Grandson Arrested in Shocking Death of 70-Year-Old Lynn Adams in Lawrence

The community of Lawrence is reeling after the tragic and deeply unsettling death of 70-year-old Lynn Adams, who was found unresponsive in her home early this morning. According to authorities, officers were dispatched around 2 a.m. to a residence located southwest of Clinton Parkway and Crestline Drive after a disturbing call was made to emergency dispatch. Police say 25-year-old Marcus Cassella allegedly confessed over the phone to strangling his grandmother, prompting officers to respond immediately to the home.
