According to the Winston-Salem Police Department, officers were dispatched around 9:52 a.m. following reports of a fight in progress at the park. While responding, additional calls came in reporting gunfire and multiple victims. The situation rapidly intensified, prompting a large police presence and emergency response.
Investigators say early findings suggest the violence stemmed from a pre-arranged confrontation involving juveniles.
